Yeah I did the factory reset that you had suggested, I'm pretty sure I did the instructions correctly. All that happened however, was the lights alternated between green blue then changed to just green then red then flashing white. Nothing on the screen changed. I charged the device for a couple hours prior to that as well.
After re-downloading the image 3 times and writing it to the sd card a couple times it still didn't work...
