Well, this summer has been a little worse than so-so, but today was beautiful. The afternoon temperature was about 80°F, there were just a few clouds in the sky, the humidity was low and there was an occasional breeze. Perfect for reading on the back deck.
We've had a very wet summer, though, and the mosquitoes are forming clouds to rival the Passenger Pigeon flocks of the late 1800s.
