The others do go on sale, but only rarely and for not very long. But at least they are normally in the $5 range, not the $8 - $10 range that some smaller presses seem to carry over from their "trade paperbacks". There is also a (consistently named) omnibus of the first three titles, Deadly Trio, that is currently $9.99, but spent quite a while at $0.99 earlier this year. If the first one weren't free, $9.99 would be a good price, but as it is, Trio works out to about the same as the individual titles for #2 and #3, give or take a couple pennies.

But I know what you mean - when I do find a series I like, I want to read it now - and not wait for a sale...
