Thanks for your input. I'll take another look at Enoch Pratt and Fairfax.

Brooklyn is excellent. As a New York resident, I don't have to pay, but it's much better than FLP, which charges the same $50. Waiting lists don't seem too bad, as BPL often buys multiple copies of popular books, and the selection seems good. I would definitely recommend it over any of the others.
