For the hundredth time I did a complete reset but this time I downloaded one book at a time instead of doing what I usually do which is going to the content and devices page on amazon, check mark every book and send to kindle so all my books auto-download. This time I took the slow way and downloaded each book one at a time manually. I also did not side load my custom fonts or try to download audibles.
For some reason my battery life is now better. It is still abnormal like dropping 20% power a day and it still reboots itself automatically for no good reason but far better than 50%, 60% a day power loss I been having.

One more suggestion...
I realize you've tried everything (more than once) but I would do the following if in your shoes:
1. Perform a factory reset. (as it was when new)
2. Download/transfer
ONE book and one book
only. Nothing else, no fonts, no Audible, etc.
3. Confirm the device is in airplane mode/wifi and bluetooth
OFF and charged to 100%.
4. Read, observe and document findings (hours used, battery drain) for one week.
I believe #2 is key here. This should narrow it down to whether or not the device is the problem.
Just my .02$ but it is what I would do.
