mostly used in the military community, of which I am.
Another military one: FIGMO: "F... [I learned "Forget it"], I've Got My Orders..."
i.e., "lame duck" as in president, I'm not doing my work, 'cause I'm out of here before you can do anything to me.
But my most used and favorite, is OBE. I'm not sure where I got it, I've used it since high school.......Overcome By Events. i.e., no longer matters
