My one request would be system-related (and I cannot stop going on about no matter how much some of you keep telling me that they don't need it, glad I found the “dream OS” thread):
I want to be able to upload books to Kobo's cloud and have them available, together with annotations, on my Mac, my iPad and my ereader so that I can read anywhere and review and copy my notes from the convenience of my computer. Also to be able to backup my notes.
