That explains why I couldn't find any md5sums or similar for any firmware out there.
My concern is that I had to do it twice. It seems that using the phone to transfer the image via wifi might not be fully reliable either, as the first time the sums dind't match.
All I wanted is to have backup (that I'd know is valid) just in case letting the device boot locks while upgrading the firmware or something, as I've read has happened to more than one.
So my question then would be, is there any way to check the image I've got is a working one?
