I read on my IPod. I know it's not a tablet device, but it fits in a pocket and I can easily pull it out standing in line, before a movie, in a doc's office etc. I also seem to read faster on it.

The only issue with the iPod is the incompatibility with my PC. Apple took ibooks off of iTunes and did not have a PC ibooks app, so if upgrade ITunes I can only access books via cloud vs my PC. I know old fashion, but that's just me.
