I stopped buying the Baen bundles last year because my late sister is no longer around to read them. I usually only read a couple of the books out of each. I still sometimes get those Phoenix Pick bundles because it's an author I like. Still, I have more than 5 years of reading/listening material in hand. I did get a bunch of audiobooks for cheap with the closing of Audiobookstand (they are closed now, so you can't be tempted!), but doing MUCH better not picking up free books. As suggested, I think "Would I pay $4 for this book or $8 for the accompanying audiobook? If not, I don't get it.

That all said, I bought quite a few audiobooks during audiobookstand's closing sale (they are closed now, so you won't be tempted). Hard to turn down audiobooks that interest me that are only $4. Yes, I'm a victim of sales.
