Hello, I've just joined because I'm a 'joiner'

I came here to d/l a Calibre plugin. And then another. And another, and ... well it seemed reasonable to become a member.

I use a Galaxy Tab S2 running FBReader for reading, and Calibre on my PC to organise/maintain my library. Although I've been using Calibre for a while, I'm only now beginning to appreciate just how great a piece of software it is.

Being retired, I spend my time (too much time!) playing games on my PC, reading, writing, and generally playing around on my PC and home network.

I'm a geek from way back, having met my first computer in 1981 (ZX 80), and have owned a variety of PCs from a BBC Micro, to Amiga 1000, and IBM compats running various versions of Windows - currently 64-bit Windows 10 Pro.
