Would you like to see different "modes" for the Iliad?

Hi!

This has come up on the iRex forums, but it didn't really go very far so I'm putting this poll up to collect your opinions on this topic.

What is this about?
We have heard a lot of different opinions about the things people are planning on doing with their Iliad.
Some are going to take it to school or to conferences and are going to take notes, use it like paper, others are going to read complex documents and want to annotate them, still others just want to sit back on their sofa and read, or take it along for the daily commuting or for long trips by plane and train, without readily available power-outlets.

The Iliad is a very versatile device, it has a lot of different potential uses. Now, running all the features of the Iliad uses up a lot of power, so for those of us that just want to read that means we get less-than-optimal battery-life because of features we don't actually need most of the time.

The idea here is, to create different "Modes of Operation" that give the user what he need, not more and not less, making the device a bit more user-defineable.
For example, a book-mode could do without network support, wireless, maybe even without Stylus. Processor could be tuned down since it wouldn't have to do much. This would give the "book-users" beter battery-life without actually losing anything important.

What do you think? What are your ideas for "Modes" or "Profiles"
