Finally a break in the heat today. Yesterday the official temperature was just over 35C, outside in the garden of where I'm house sitting the thermometer reached 42C.
During the night we got a thunderstorm and it cooled down to around 20C. Today it'll be rainy until about mid afternoon and it'll only be 24-25C. Tonight temperatures are dropping to around 13C. Which is going to be a relief.
