Yes, I vaguely remembered it, but do not know whether I actually used it. Could also be using a similar program called IFilter Explorer.

BTW, the abandoned freeware desktop search program I used to use was Copernic, which was quite good until it became a paid version and I quit using it. Don't know whether the paid version is worth to try: they now charge about $11 per year.
