I take my Clara HD with me when I walk my dog, and when it was raining the other day that was the only time I wish I had a waterproof ereader. But then I realized that I could still use the capacitive touchscreen through a ziplock bag so that solved the waterproofing issue for me.

It sure looks ugly but it would protect it against anything I'd be willing to throw at it since I don't plan on submerging it, but even then the ziplock would probably keep it dry. Granted it'd still be nice to have waterproofing to guard against unexpected events like spills or drops into water.
