Of the waterproofed devices, only the original Aura H2O has an internal SD card. It is waterproofed by sealing the case. If you open the case to do anything, then you break the seal and it is no longer waterproof.

The other waterproof devices are done using a coating on everything. The connectors, like the battery, seem to be sealed in a blob of silicon or something. It is probably possible to pull that off and reseal it. I don't know if that would compromise the coating around it.
