The other thing I would like verification is that bookshelves = collections?
Do I do collections or bookshelves on the Kobo & Calibre? Seems alot of info is based on how to use/install/create bookshelves but not much about collections.
Kobo introduced the feature as "Shelves" and two or three years later they were renamed to "Collections".

Hard to ask meaningful questions when I do not have the Aura One on hand to mess things up. Have come across about using Calibre to create my library structure on the Kobo.
Then don't ask any questions. The device is on its way. Wait for it to come. Then put a couple of books on it and read a bit and play. Then work out how you want to organise things. Once you have used it, you might decide all these questions were silly. Or come up with a completely different set of questions. It won't harm anything to wipe the device after a few days and start again. And if you plan to do that, you will feel a lot better about any mistakes you might think you are making.
