I wrote you in your other post earlier today. In my case, the battery had died. The warranty had expired, so I bought a new one and installed it myself. It works fine now, on the latest firmware (4.9 etc. I'm on my phone now, can't check). If your device was replaced and you still have the same problem, there is a high likelihood that it's due to something you are doing, and changing device wouldn't help.
I saw davidfor asking you for info in the thread you opened today - if you haven't done it yet, reply to his questions and someone might be able to help you. There are too many reasons why this could be happening - and yes, a sideloaded epub *could* be one, but it's not certain.
