I have have a ton of books on my Kindle and I too want a better way to organize and view my contents. Tags, Labels, Folders, Shelves, Whatever, Don't Care, just give me something.
I really don't understand why Amazon hasn't provided this feature yet. My guess is that they think their customers are stupid and would get confused by the highly technical folders.
As a work around, I sort by title or author then press the first 2 letters in the authors/titles name. You have to press the keys pretty quick but it works pretty good. However, I'd still like to filter by a single author, or sort by genre, etc.
