Honestly, if there is a book you are mildly interested in but not willing to buy and there is a free version with a few ads, are you going to flat out refuse to read the free version?

If the book was free, I have no problem reading it. My expectations for free stuff is way lower than for the things I will pay for. That said, if there are ads in it and a price tag attached, I will not be buying it. I have no issue paying for what I want, nor do I think that I'm the only one that likes to get paid for my work... ergo, I'll buy that author's book. But... as soon as the adverts go in, I go bye bye... or rather, buy buy elsewhere
