Oh, I thoroughly enjoyed those. I feel I should let you know, though, that those books end up crossing over with some of his other books and series: the generally standalone Shadows Fall gets a mention, the Haven/Forest Kingdom books get a blink-and-miss-it cameo, I believe one of the settings that comes into play is from his Deathstalker series, there's a substantial crossover with his Secret Histories series, and his Ghost Hunters series has its origin somewhere in all of that.

So, if you like this one - and despite the above, the first half-dozen books work as a self-contained arc - get ready to strap in for a lot more.
