I liked this despite the horrendous ending. The murderer was unexpected due to deliberate misinformation by the author. The writing was precise with a touch of wit. A nice easy read but don't bother trying to figure out who did it. Rated D+ [ 2 stars].
PS. Didn't the UK use fingerprinting in 1927 to help solve crimes?
