ok, I updated my question above and shorted it, question can you split the kfx format like you can split the mobi format, that's outputted by kindle previewer 3 which outputs an kfx mobi format type I think, since kindleunpack can't split the kfx plugin format, that has both mobi and azw3 in it correct? which is my new edited question above, also asked about recompressing the JPEG format, sizes like 40 seem to make spots in the jpeg image, also was wondering if its better to use kindlegen to recompress the epub format with -c2 -gif or if its best to keep the images in jpeg format, instead of gif if that really matters at all about the kfx or azw3 formats for kindle paperwhite 2 or android tablet 10.1 size models, since I use both devices with my ebooks, is why I was now asking this question, thanks for any reply on this subject again about that question I had about the hardware hard reboots was not sure if it was the new firmware causing it or the ebooks, which kind of was anwsered , but I was not sure that the ebook had caused the hard reboot, my kindle paperwhite 2 model may of been an refurbished hardware device, have owned like for 2 years now at least without hard rebooting problem before updating to current firmware, I normally download the firmware file copy it over to the device then apply it to it since the model has ads on it if you take it online etc.. so I read my ebooks on it offline etc.. most of the time anyway.
