It's starting to feel as if I'm speaking into the abyss but there's nothing to do. I left it charging for several hours plugged to the wall outlet this morning after formatting the microSD card on my computer and reloading davidfor's Glo HD image on it. If I try using it while it's still plugged on, the books open normally. If I try doing that when it's not plugged, even if the battery is at 100%, the ereader turns off as soon as a book opens, leaving the 'negative' imprint of it on the screen. It also turned off once while downloading the dictionaries from Kobo, and once as I was simply trying to navigate to 'My Books'. It's unusable. I have to guess the battery is failing in some way, but I'll try contacting Kobo's customer service. In the meantime, any suggestion is welcome, and thanks for the help so far.
