@Semwize, fortunately I don't read EPUBs but only sideloaded KePubs, so the bug doesn't affect me, but I can imagine how annoying it must be :/

Anyway, I have an update: it's definitely not the database. Everything was fine until I started reloading my books on the device, so I have to assume it's something there.
I'll try and check the latest books I uploaded on the device to see if it's something there that may be causing the problem. Does anybody have any suggestions on how to do that? I used Sigil's "check ePub" feature before.
