Hmm. My first Kindle book. I had to check my Amazon records for this. It was "The Omnivore's Dilemma." by Michael Pollan.

FWIW, my first e-book was a *long* time ago; I think it may have been "Diplomatic Immunity" by Lois McMaster Bujold by way of Baen Books. I read it all on the computer.

I think e-book readers are a big improvement over computers, even notebooks, and my Kindle is a big improvement over my Palm TX (though the TX is easier to carry around than the Kindle, FWIW.)
