Did any of them actually appear in person? I ask because King wrote a story specifically for the Kindle (UR) and in his latest book, The Outsider, the Kindle gets a shout-out as one of the best damn devices ever invented (though by volume, the iPad gets far more love).

I also remember Patterson doing a stunt for them where he hand delivered a copy of his latest book to an Amazon customer who had pre-ordered.
