I didn't say it was informative. It clearly wasn't intended as a guide. I don't think what he said was exactly wrong, just they were conflating Calibre with the Alf plug-in. Again, it was clearly unscripted. I can forgive that.

I did think it was interesting to see a professional reviewer at a very mainstream publication (PC Magazine) expressing the same anti-walled garden feelings that many on this board have.

Usually, when an e-reader is reviewed, there's no real mention of being locked-in to an ecosystem.
