Without seeing what errors messages may exist, I'd only be guessing.

But you can run Calibre in debug mode (under Calibre's Preferences download) and post the debug log showing the errors. Wrap it in [spoiler] and [code] tags.

In the next test version, I will add status states 'Paused' & 'Cancelled' to adapter_fanfiktionde as well as site specific metadata native_status to contain the original German status. (You'll have to add it to title page config, etc yourself.)

I can't promise that native_status will always be there--I'm assuming it's always the 4 'titled-icon', but I have only a small sample to compare to.
