This will differ per usage. I've been using my Clara for an hour or two a day (plus one day of about five-six hours of reading) for about 10 days now with 3% lighting and WiFi off, and charge is at 86%.
EDIT: I suppose reading duration doesn't say it all. In that time I read 251 pages of one book and I finished another book first, but I can't remember how many images were still remaining after the last USB connection (full charge). Additionally, 251+ pages will give more than that amount in actual page turns/refreshes as one book page does not fit on the screen with my reading settings, and I have the full screen refresh (black flash) set to once every 10 page turns...
So to sort of ridiculously try to summarise, reading approximately 280 book pages with, say, 460 page turns of which 46 full screen refreshes with 3% lighting in 23 cumulative hours with more than 30 sleep/wake cycles will get the battery from 100% to 86%...

It's not.

They don't
have to. I'm not planning to fix anything. I may just try the weight idea merely out of curiosity, but the two/three minor bleed spots along the side bezel really don't bother me. I don't see them whilst reading, and reading is what the device is for. (Unless of course aesthetics is more important than functionality, but I believe that discussion was already conversed somewhere at the beginning of this thread.)
