Maybe so, but it's still pathetic quality control. It's not like they're selling at a huge discount "as is." Heck my Sony PRS-700 "won't explode or give me a headache," but I don't think I would want to read on it for more twenty minutes.

The thing is, this doesn't look like it should be a hard fix with changes in manufacturing. Kobo needs to 1) Change their manufacturing procedure so the bleed doesn't happen and, 2) Offer to replace defective units with good ones. It's ridiculous that new Clara owners are having to find ways to fix the defects on their brand new Claras.
