I did find this site with downloads of earlier versions. I used this version when I downloaded the unencrypted mp3 files.
I have no idea why the app didn't automatically update--I don't know where the setting is to keep it from doing so. But it's on a phone on which wifi is turned off unless I'm actually downloading something. |
First, let me emphasize--I've known this to happen regarding legitimate websites before, though not necessarily from this product.
Malwarebytes Premium flagged the site having earlier versions of software, that you mentioned, saying "website blocked due to fraud." And, just as it said, it blocked the website--I couldn't go to it.
