Thank you very much for your prompt reply. I'll stick with the jailbreak 5.3.9 that's already running. The way I made my fonts darker was to copy the bold font I wanted three times and renamed two of them so I got the three types of font I needed for the Kindle, but all three of them were the same bold font with different names.
