In the first case, you would have items that are not really audiobooks; in the second case, you would have an awkward mixture of media on the same subject or topic.

Using the Grimme podcasts as an example, I suppose that someone could just create a separate thread, in the non-sticky area. It's not like people are trying to bust down the doors to post items like that . . . .

I'm not trying to be obnoxious, just wanting clarification.
It's the content that matters. Is it an audio version of something that might otherwise be called a "book?" The kind of thing that the typical audiobook listener might come looking for? Then OK.
Is the content more like a talk show or news magazine, or something else that no one looking for "audio books" is looking for? Then no.

The delivery format is less important.
