Hi

I have a lot of files on my Kindle which I want (need!) to organise into collections, and I find that doing it on the Kindle is pretty clunky and time-consuming, as it means that every time I want to add items to a collection I have to trawl through every file on the Kindle - and I have pages and pages of them. It would be much simpler if I could do it using Calibre software on my PC.

I can get Calibre to show all my Kindle files, and it will show which collection each file is in (or if in no collection) but from that screen it won't let me add any file to a collection: it won't let me type the collection name that I want to put in the Collection column for that particular item.

Does anyone know of a way of using Calibre to do this? Or some similar/equivalent alternative?

(My Kindle is a DX, by the way.)
