My phone, laptop and tablet are all capacitive and I just resign myself to having to hit multiple times, but I really don't use the laptop and tablet all that often to begin with so it doesn't bother me. Keeping hand lotion on helps, or at worse just slightly licking my finger. Something I definitely don't want to do after touching an elevator button though.

And I don't use those devices repeatedly like turning pages while reading. Only my phone would get answered outdoors in the cold and I don't have a problem with taking off my glove momentarily to answer a call or use the GPS. I'm not a big phone user so that's not really a problem for me.

And I always think of Clarabell the Clown from the Howdy Doody show. I really don't like the name either, Nova would have been a much better choice from the get-go.
