I haven't read any of them, but both Scott and Byrne are authors I've noticed in reviews lately, so I'm planning to pick it up.
I have the 2 Melissa Scotts (originally trad pub, but I got the ebooks cheap in a Smashwords sale a while back). They're pretty good. The only title I'm interested in is the Jo Graham, but I'm not willing to pay $15 to get it when I can get the individual title for £3.49 full price on Amazon ($4.99 on Smashwords).

My partner mentions he'd heard good things about Alex Acks, but nothing about that title specifically.
