Interesting. Wonder how common eMMC failure is on e-ink readers.

I've seen plenty of NAND failures on flash drives (PortableApps can be quite heavy on those). Haven't seen one on a mobile device until now. Makes me appreciate the internal microSD slot on the Kobo.
