I know what you mean. I also ordered from Dell Canada a couple of weeks ago and initally was told that the expected delivery date was March 3rd...now, it's showing up to be delivered by March 30th - it's quite annoying.
However, today I called the person who took my order and he said he put in a "special" request to have my PRS-505 sent to me express (I ordered the silver one) so according to him, I should have it by the 3rd as scheduled. I told him I needed it because it was a gift for my boyfriend's birthday...which was the truth. Maybe, you can contact your customer service rep. and ask them to put a rush on it for you too?
