Today is a stressful day. Today my father has to go to court for my uncle's appeal in The Family Thing. Our lawyer is certain the judge wants my father and uncle to negotiate to see if they can come to an agreement today. My lawyer is going to try to have my uncle make the first offer, up until now my father had to do this and my uncle always countered with ridiculous demands. But we're certain that the negotiations will fail, since my uncle has stated multiple times in the past that he simply doesn't want my father to buy the house in any circumstance (hence the ridiculous demands).
When the negotiations fail, it'll have to go back to the judge and it might take a while before he can continue the case.
The court procedures start at 1pm, my father, sister, aunt and the lawyers are meeting an hour early and they usually have a drink afterwards. So I'll be on my own in the store most, if not all, day. It's going to be a very warm day, so I don't expect it to be busy, Wednesday is usually the most quiet day of the week. So I've planned to do some cleaning in the morning when it's still relatively cool. After that I'll read between customers.
