The firmware doesn't support downloading books from the Adobe servers. One of the changes in the firmware last year was if a ACSM file was downloaded to display a message that to that fact. The first time you downloaded one, you should have seen the message:

In the config file, there is probably a line starting with "AcsmReminder". Removing that should get the reminder displayed the next time you download an ACSM file.
