When I first started reading romance I remember writing snail mail to the various bookstores with ads in the back of the magazine trying to track down authors' backlist books. (Yes I am pre-internet years of reading romance years old )
Apparently there will be a more reader-focused con next year in New Orleans under new management (and invite only for authors). bookloverscon.com

I dropped the subscription the moment they went totally online and there was no magazine. But it has been useful for me for many years when I was checking USA scene (remember, Spanish girl here).
And I received emails from them, as I still was in their mail list.
Sad to see them say goodbye.
