Well, if VR's going to Melbourne, he's about as far from me as Stockholm is from Paris, or Milwaukee from Houston. Even if I had a licence, I'm not driving that far, even in a flying car.
Adrian, however, does not seem to be bound by little things like dimensional separation. I think he just uses brute-strength to fold the relevant physical entities into origami-space, and then does a simple swing from his origin to his destination.

I once saw myself in a hallucination. It wasn't pretty. That's why I wear the mask. Adrian is looking forward to it (the meetup; not me without the mask).
