The only issue you might encounter is that it might take a couple of weeks before your Note is shipped to you. If you email them a question, it may take them some time before they can respond. The Note has been a much bigger seller than anyone anticipated, and ereader.store has been quite busy just keeping up with orders!

But be patient, and your Note will come.

For me, the note-taking ability of the Note is nice, but I don't use it that much. I bought it for its size, its upgraded hardware, and because it runs Android 6. For a couple of apps I want to run on an E-Ink device, Android 6 and better hardware are both very important. I find it big enough for the pdfs I read, and yet light enough for eBook reading in general.

In time, though, I may use the stylus more.

Enjoy your Note when it arrives!
Many thanks, yes I'll give them/him plenty of lee-way as you suggest. The most important criteria for me are the honesty and reliability of the seller. Having read a lot of good and favourable comments re ereader.store here, I certainly feel a lot more comfortable with my purchase.

I looked at the excellent example PDFs with and without highlights & annotation posted by a member here (I can't find it now!) and saw that the Note is able to do exactly what I require. Another big bonus for me is the ability to use it outdoors - even for some basic web-searches as I read/write notes and add a few simple diagrams etc.

So, I'm not expecting miracles from an e-paper screen of course
, I leave the colourful full-on laptop-work to my full-on laptop.

I'll let you know and post some early observations etc in my working environment and of my workflow - which includes reading, annotating and note-taking, together with some relatively undemanding web-browser use.

Ultimately my choice came down to the Boox Note or the ReMarkable, but I just couldn't live with the apparently hugely inferior spec and versatility of the ReMarkable.

Well, I'll soon find out, I'm reasonably optimistic - as long as I resist the urge to check my C-card balance for a while!

Back soon with more info and an update.
