Well, the insurance company is AIG ... bunch of morons.
I am taking the gloves off. I was going to go easy on them with regard to some of the non-consumables that were damaged (like my laptop, and my Garmin, and my iPhone .... I had everything with me except my Kindle), and I was going to be nice about all the missed work.
Not no more. I'm cataloging all of the projects/hours I've worked over the last few weeks (before this happened). By my estimate, I'd say they are going to be about $30,000 in the hole to me when it's all totaled up ... and that's not including my car.
You know, it's money I might have actually walked away from if they had been even the tiniest bit nice to me ... but they act like it's all my fault for driving down the highway, at the speed limit, going the correct direction. And .... gee, was I supposed to lick all that soda pop off the road??
No .... they want to act like complete dicks, then I'm going to give them a glance at how much freaking money I can actually make when I'm not drugged senseless or in pain.
Saw the doctor again today. They x-rayed me from head to toe, and gave me a handful of new meds (including muscle relaxants) and a shot in the butt. It is killing me to type, so I'm going to go take some more Vicodin and log off for the present.
