Under Préférences, look for Importer/Exporter, select "Tableaux de connexion des métadonnées". This gets you to the metadata plugboard creation. "Ajouter un nouveau tableau de connexions" is where you want to start.

At this point, you've pretty much reached the limits of what I remember from high school French.
