I have both devices a Kindle and a Kobo,
They have similar systems but their differences are what make their worth.
The Kindle has the vocabulary builder feature and Kindle Mate program to manage your notes and words learned and that is an important thing.
The Kobo has a very good feature , so no matter if you are left or right handed you can turn pages either by clicking right or left depending on your settings. Kobo track the time you spend reading books and how many books you read on the device..
In the end , if you are looking for a larger screen either buy a Kindle Oasis or wait for kindle paperwhite 4 , hopefully it is a 7" screen, it will feature comfort light that is for sure but i am not sure about the screen size.Or you can take the Kobo Aura h2o . The Kobo Aura One seems too large to me for an ereader .
