I remember you posted about copying the activation file in another thread. If I ever get a new ereader I'll try this. I did try to contact Adobe but since Google now has ADE the only way to communicate is through the forums which don't seem to be monitored. If worst comes to worst I guess I could just create a new ADE account and start over.
