If enough people see the Oasis 2 getting too hot to read, it would be a problem and Amazon might start selling them or 3rd party chill covers. e ink devices are perfect for reading outside, so they would have to come up with something if people can't because they get too hot .
What I'd worry about with this is that the hot/cold temperature change would be hard on the glass substrate of the reader--causing it to break...
