OK, the Note has arrived yesterday, cover included - tot.:20 days (but only 12 working days). I like it, it has a good response to touch or stylus. I hoped the background would be a little more white and less gray. About the note-taking I'm not sure ... I don't think it would be able to replace note-taking on a conventional piece of paper in some situations: still not quick enough if you have to take note e.g. during a meeting. I think it is only useful if you use it to take some notes on your own, without time pressure. Another issue is that I tried to download additional dictionaries, but I found myself lost in a Chinese menu. I'm also a little disappointed by the quality of TTS which is really too artificial (this meant that you can't use it e.g. for the read of entire books (as if were an audiobook). Anyway, although this little negative considerations, I like it and I think I'll have a lot of fun with it!
